A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon parcels sourced from vineyards throughout the Barossa. The fruit is fermented for up to 14 days, then aged for 12 months in a mix of French and American oak. Individual parcels of fruit are matured separately to maximise the blend's complexity and finalised through a selection process. The resulting wine is rich and concentrated with aromas of ripe dark berry fruits, blackcurrants and plums with mint and varietal leafy notes. The palate is plush with flavours balanced by fine, textural tannins.

Deep ruby in colour, this Cabernet Sauvignon opens with rich, concentrated aromas of ripe dark cherry, blackberry, cocoa, and sweet spices. Soft, chewy tannins lead to a long, lush finish. Ageing select lots in bourbon whiskey barrels enhances the finish of smoke, sweet spice, and cocoa when added to the final blend. This is a wine of great intensity. It has distinctive blackcurrant and cassis fruit flavours. Subtle oak characters of cedar cigar box and spice are also evident. The tannins are fine and elegant - a hallmark of the varietal. The palate is well balanced, complex and fulfilling and lingers on the finish.
