Mac's Gold is the talisman of the Mac's family, an all malt lager brewed naturally with hints of citrus and sweet malts. Mac's Gold is the first, the original, the supreme naturally brewed all malt lager. Unbroken and therefore unfixed since 1983 thanks to its delicate caramel sweetness and crisp, clean aftertaste. Connoisseurs will note that the mid-palate bitterness and hints of citrus have not been tinkered with.

A Mac's take on the NEIPA (New England-style IPA), brewed to be lower in bitterness than traditional IPAs, but still very generously hopped, both in the brewhouse and dry-hopped in fermentation, with an emphasis on producing juicy, tropical fruit flavours. The large amount of dry-hopping is also what gives the beer its hazy appearance. And at 5.2% ABV it makes for a very sessionable brew.
